Ok, so let me just clear this up. I do not hate Michael Bay. But I do think he consistently makes mindless, soulless movies. I only really like Bad Boys and Transformers; and I can kinda tolerate The Rock. That’s it. Even so, in my humble opinion, this year he hit a new low with the Transformers sequel and I have to admit that I’ve taken every opportunity I could to bash the film and the director. So much so that I was beginning to feel a little guilty. That was until I came upon this Interview in the LA Times where composer James Horner said this:

“Not to mention names, but if it was Michael Bay making this movie we wouldn’t be having this conversation. These things wouldn’t matter or they certainly wouldn’t matter as much. Jim knows the importance of it not just becoming mecha. Jim knows that a movie can become swamped in just unbelievable imagery and that it becomes hollow. Jim won’t allow that and my job is to make sure it doesn’t happen.”

The movie in question is Avatar and Jim, is James Cameron. So this is the perfect snd bite-An Avatar plug and a Bay insult!!!
