Ok so things I’m psyched about- Basterds, Wild Things, 500 Days and Star Treck being included in the top 10. Surprised that An Education and The Messenger was included and that Precious was not. The other big omissions was the musical Nine-hinting that a repeat of Chicago is no in the cards for Rob Marshall and the Weinsteins; and no Lovely Bones-which seems very odd. Still, its very unlikely that the Academy will match the 10 nominations with this list.
What do you think? What movies make up your 2009 best list?
